Arman Hakimattar (he/him) was born in Boston, MA, and raised in the Rocky Mountains of Calgary, Alberta. He grew up sledding, skating and creating fantastic stories for him and his cousins to get lost in. When he first began acting while studying business at the University of Western Ontario, the joy of storytelling came rushing back. His recent work at UNCSA includes playing Salieri in Peter Shaffer's play "Amadeus" and B in "Passage" by Christopher Chen.

His upbringing in a large family of Iranian immigrants has made him a global citizen with a deep commitment to exploring political work and creating more spaces for actors of Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) identities.
